Eli Roymi of Israel is the 2019 World Champion of Backgammon

Eli Roymi of Israel was crowned the 2019 World Champion of Backgammon on August 4th after besting Petko Kostadinov of Bulgaria/USA in an exciting bout played well by both. The 44th World Backgammon Championship was held from July 27 to August 4, 2019 in Monte Carlo, Monaco.
